Hi, and welcome to my Web page.
I am one of the team of anesthesiologists at the Orange County Anaheim Medical Center. I am originally from New Orleans. I did my undergraduate education at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. I returned to my home state to complete medical school at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport, Louisiana. Returning to Alabama, I completed my internship in internal medicine in 1981 and then my residency in anesthesiology in 1983 at University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham.
After working for a very brief period at City of Hope in Duarte, I joined Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles, where I worked as an anesthesiologist for four years with a special focus on pediatric anesthesia. Subsequently, I went into private practice, during which time I taught residents for two years. In 1995, I rejoined Kaiser Permanente in Orange County, where I have been ever since.
One of my favorite responsibilities with Kaiser Permanente is being the physician champion for the Community Giving Campaign in Orange County. I truly love helping other people and have participated in foreign medical mission work. When not traveling, I strive to keep a balance between work and pleasure. For exercise, I enjoy weight training and various cardio activities, including hiking.
