About me

Welcome! I am happy to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself.

Biography

I was born and raised in California, and I moved to San Diego for medical school. I spent a year each in Boston and Seattle to complete my master of public health degree at Harvard University and my medical internship at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. While my wife and I enjoyed those cities, we were excited to move back to sunny San Diego, where I completed radiology residency and neuroradiology fellowship at UC San Diego. I feel privileged to join my colleagues at Kaiser Permanente in providing you with high-quality care.

About my practice

Much of medicine is a team practice. My primary role as a diagnostic radiologist is to interpret radiographs, ultrasounds, CT scans, and MRIs to support the care team in guiding your medical care. I have subspecialty training in neuroradiology with a special interest in diseases of the brain, head and neck, and spine. Radiology is a continuously evolving field, and I also maintain an interest in emerging technologies and how they may apply to our practice.

How I thrive

Maintaining a healthy balance in life is an important priority for me. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring San Diego with my family and our dog, hiking, traveling to new places, and visiting friends and family.
