Premium Payment System Transition: Frequently Asked Questions

Register at kp.org/payonline using your Billing Unit ID (BUID). Refer to recent correspondence with the subject line “Act Now: Register and set up recurring payments” for your BUID and step-by-step instructions to register.
Premium bills are typically mailed in the middle of each month. You can also view an electronic copy of your bill online.
Your medical and dental premiums are now billed separately. This means that instead of receiving one premium billing statement, you’ll receive two individual premium billing statements, one for your medical and one for your dental coverage. Each will require a separate payment. Refer to recent correspondence with the subject line “Act Now: Register and set up recurring payments” for your two BUIDs and step-by-step instructions to register.

To keep paperless billing active, you must update your paperless preferences:

  • Visit kp.org/paperlessrenewals
  • In the upper right corner of the screen, click on My Account
  • Select Profile & Preferences, then Paperless
