A UNAC/UHCP labor strike is underway at Kaiser Permanente

The United Nurses Associations of California/Union of Health Care Professionals (UNAC/UHCP) is conducting an open-ended strike involving a limited number of Northern California employees. This union represents just 2,800 health care workers, including nurse anesthetists, certified nurse midwives, acupuncturists, physician assistants, occupational, speech, and physical therapists, and other skilled employees.

Our hospitals, medical offices, and pharmacies remain open, and you can rely on us for the high-quality care you deserve. We’ve put strong plans in place to ensure your care continues without interruption.

Appointments during the strike

If you have an appointment scheduled during the strike, please don't cancel or reschedule. We’ll contact you in advance if your appointment or services need to be rescheduled.

Your care and well-being remain central to everything we do. Thank you for your understanding, and we’re sorry for any inconvenience.
