About this program

Having an operation can be scary for young children. Join this hospital tour to help prepare your children for surgery. Studies show that children who take part in pre-operative tours have an easier time during and after surgery. They become familiar with the hospital environment, equipment, and procedures and can ask questions and discuss concerns. Tours may also be offered at your child’s pre-operative appointment for your convenience.
