At Kaiser Permanente, your privacy is important to us therefore we are using the Microsoft Teams-based video platform. This app allows us to interact with our members in a group while maintaining the requisite privacy you expect us to operate within. You can participate in the meeting either on your smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer.
If you’re using a smartphone or tablet, you must download the app ahead of time.
- You do not need to create a Microsoft Live account; you can join the meeting as a guest to view presentations. Note: The chat function is disabled in guest mode.
- Open the App Store (iPhone) or the Google Play Store (Android) from your smartphone or tablet and download the Microsoft Teams app.
- Fully charge your device and be in a place with excellent wi-fi or cell phone reception.

Each session will start off with a brief description of the effects of stress physiologically, mentally and emotionally.

- When stress turns chronic, working through anxiety and worry.
- Reducing and relieving stress through practical techniques.
- Managing stressful situations and triggers.
- Recognize patterns of stress reaction.
- Creating a more balanced and productive daily life.
- Building resilience and growing through stress reduction.
- Evidence-based strategies for minimizing stress and working through distorted thoughts.
