Shuttle information for ambulatory patients in Hawaii

Patient shuttle services are provided for ambulatory patients (those who can walk without assistance) traveling to and from Kaiser Permanente clinic appointments. For your safety, wheelchair, car seat, motorized scooter, and large suitcase/bulky item services are not available.

Shuttle pick-up location

Kaiser Permanente has one shuttle pick-up area assigned at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL). The pick-up area is located on the ground level on the makai (south) end of Terminal 1 (Interisland Terminal). When exiting baggage claim, turn right, and proceed to the pick-up area beneath the “Pre-Arranged 1” sign. Please be aware that there is a designated smoking area next to the waiting area (beneath two white canopies).

Non-stop weekday transportation (Monday through Friday, except holidays) is available between Moanalua Medical Center and the following areas.

Honolulu: Sign up at the table next to the security office in the lobby

For all other departure locations, notify clinic cashier that you need to ride the shuttle.

No sign up is required for the airport shuttle.

Tips for using the patient shuttle

At Moanalua, wait outside in the circle area for the shuttle to arrive. Please listen for the driver to announce the destination. For example, "Airport (or Clinic) Shuttle leaving now." Your name will not be announced.
At Honolulu, wait in the lobby area where you signed up. Please listen for the driver to announce the shuttle is departing.
At all other clinic locations, wait in the lobby area near the cashier for the driver to announce shuttle departure.
Shuttle can fit a maximum of ten (10) passengers.
