About me
I was born and raised in Atlanta. I attended Vanderbilt University for my undergraduate education, and received my medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine. I completed my residency training at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City and received fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery at NYU Langone Health. I remained in New York for my first two years of practice, during which time I educated residents and fellows in my role as a clinical assistant professor at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. I also served our nation's veterans at the James J. Peters Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Bronx, N.Y. I returned to Atlanta in 2022 and joined Kaiser Permanente as an orthopedic hand and upper extremity surgeon.
About my practice
I am a fellowship trained hand and upper extremity surgeon and specialize in non-operative and operative management of musculoskeletal conditions arising from the fingertips to the mid-humerus. Common conditions I manage include carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, wrist fractures, tendon and nerve injuries, and arthritis. For certain conditions of the wrist and elbow, I perform minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery.
How I thrive
I thrive when treating patients and working with my exceptional colleagues at Kaiser Permanente. I am a member of Pride Ortho, an organization addressing LGBTQ-related issues in orthopedic surgery. I have mentored medical students, residents, and fellows. Outside of my role as a physician, I like to express myself by writing songs as a hobby.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
