About me
I am originally from Toledo, Ohio, and I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis. I then went back to my hometown to obtain my medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. I completed my training in the robust Texas Medical Center, completing both my residency and fellowship over seven years. Although I loved the culture of Houston, I moved to Atlanta in 2020 to start my family. We chose Atlanta as my husband is a Smyrna native and we have a large network of family support in the area. I have two children who I enjoy dedicating my time to outside of work. We love to spend our time outdoors and my husband is a diehard Atlanta sports fan, therefore we enjoy many sporting events.
I have always been passionate about women's health and advocating for women. I decided to become a urogynecologist so that I can work to improve the quality of life for women. I enjoy working with people as much as with my hands, and so I found pelvic reconstructive surgery to be a perfect fit, and I enjoy it more every year.
About my practice
As a urogynecologist, I care for women throughout all aspects of life, from childbearing to menopause. One in five women in the U.S. are suffering from a pelvic floor disorder, so it is my mission to improve and restore quality of life from conditions such as prolapse, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, diseases of the genitourinary tract, and pelvic floor trauma related to childbearing. Through my extensive training, I am skilled in all modalities of minimally invasive surgery including robotic and vaginal surgery. I have a special interest in peripartum pelvic floor disorders, vaginal reconstructive surgery, transvaginal mesh excision, and all modalities of treatment of urinary incontinence.
How I thrive
As a women's health care provider, I practice what I preach to my patients. I enjoy regular exercise, cooking healthy and nutritious meals for my family, and staying active in the sunshine while running around after my kids. I enjoy taking time for myself and focus on self-care to stay grounded. I am a former collegiate tennis player and love to play tennis, pickleball, and ping pong.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
Information about a provider is provided to us by the provider or the provider's network, or is obtained as part of the credentialing process. Board certification may not reflect contracted services available from providers listed in our directory. If you have questions regarding this or about any of our providers, call us at 1-800-611-1811 (toll free). For the hearing and speech impaired: 1-888-865-5813 or 711 (TTY).
