About me
As long as I can remember, I have had the desire to be a physician. My love for primary care was enhanced during my training in residency at Overlook Medical Center in New Jersey. I place premium value on patient relationships. I particularly find it a blessing to have the opportunity to prevent versus treat diseases, thereby potentially changing the course of people's lives. It is an incomparable privilege to be entrusted with the care of my patients and to help each individual in the best way possible with the care that they need.
I enjoy travel, good food and outdoor activities. I cannot forget to also mention my love for dark chocolate, sun, sea and sand! Good company is also a "must" to enjoying life!
About my practice
I work in the very energetic Kaiser Permanente Adult Medicine Department, where I am one of many talented internal medicine and family practice physicians. I am an internal medicine physician in the department, also known as a primary care physician (PCP). Therefore, I serve adult patients for acute conditions such as urinary tract infections and respiratory infections, as well as chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and asthma.
As a PCP, I may be one of the first physicians encountered for a medical problem and this is a role I consider with great soberness and attentiveness. At my office, I am grateful to be in close proximity with other specialists who can assist in providing high-quality care for our members.
How I thrive
Balance and wholeness are key for thriving! This is important in mind, body and spirit. Balance has not been static, but it changes as the different emphases in my life have changed.
Though this is true, there are some key things for me that are particularly grounding: quiet time, self-reflection, exercise, sleep and a healthy diet.
It has been a crucial part of my life to have good friends and family members as a support base and a sounding board! A peaceful harmonious environment is also key. With these things, I thrive.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select providers and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
