I speak: English
My gender: Male
Where I practice
I am originally from Marietta and attended college and medical school at the University of Virginia. I chose medicine as a profession because it is an interesting, challenging field where I have the opportunity to help people. After my medical training, I moved back to the Atlanta area to be near my family. I enjoy spending time with my wife and my son.
About my practice
I am a physician in the Ambulatory Medicine Department. I like to think of myself as a partner with my patients, both in terms of helping them when they are ill and, more importantly, keeping them as healthy as possible to avoid problems in the future. I especially enjoy developing long-term relationships with our members and providing care to them over a number of years.
How I thrive
I try to thrive physically by regular exercise, although it can certainly be challenging to do consistently. I have a fairly wide range of hobbies as I enjoy both classic rock and classical music, am an avid reader and have been a comic book collector for many years. Over the years, I have tried to do both physically and mentally challenging activities such as martial arts, teaching myself piano, learning ancient Greek, and learning sleight of hand magic. I am active in activities with my church and with my son in Cub Scouts.
