About me

Hello, I am Dr. Cho, a primary care physician in Kaiser Permanente’s Palmdale office. As a family practitioner, I see members of all ages and often provide care to the entire family. It is very satisfying to be able to see members improve their well-being and overall happiness after following my advice.

Biography

I have had an interest in medicine since I was quite young. As I was growing up, my mother was ill and I spent much of my time taking her to and from doctor’s appointments. I felt that perhaps by becoming a physician myself, I could help others like my mom. I went to medical school in Missouri at Kirksville College where the osteopathic movement began. Osteopathic physicians receive the same basic training as medical doctors, however, DOs also study and treat the whole person, not just individual symptoms. When it came time to intern, I earned a position with the Glendale Adventist Medical Center where I also served my residency. I have been with Kaiser Permanente since 2005. My personal beliefs on healthy living and practicing preventive medicine sync well with Kaiser Permanente’s approach. It makes it a real pleasure to work here.

About my practice

By watching what you eat, controlling your weight, getting adequate exercise, and avoiding harmful habits, you improve your odds of leading a long and enjoyable life. Addressing issues before they become serious problems is what preventive medicine is all about. However it takes both of us to make the process successful. I can provide guidance and counsel, but you need to follow the right path.

How I thrive

Despite having a busy practice and a flock of active children, I always try and carve out special time for family and friends. We enjoy traveling together and have visited many areas of California as well as several Caribbean islands.
