Welcome to my Web page. I hope this brief introduction will help you get to know me better. I look forward to working together to improve your health.
I grew up in San Francisco, California. I received wonderful medical care from Kaiser Permanente growing up, and am now proud to give back as a Kaiser physician. I attended college and medical school at Stanford University, and received my urology training from the Harvard Program in Urologic Surgery. I then completed a two-year fellowship in voiding dysfunction and pelvic reconstruction at Stanford University School of Medicine, where in addition to performing surgeries, I was active in teaching medical students and conducting research.
My patient care philosophy is to educate my patients and then partner with them to select the treatment that fits best with their goals. I am a urologist with subspecialty expertise in helping men and women suffering from difficult urination, frequent urination, urinary leakage, pelvic organ prolapse, and neurologic disorders affecting their bladders.
To maintain my own wellness, I strive to achieve life balance. I practice yoga regularly, and love to travel. I am a proud mother. My family and my hobbies provide the mental and physical energy to take the very best care of my patients.
