About me
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and tell you about my practice. Working at Kaiser Permanente with my wonderful colleagues and patients is a great pleasure and privilege, and I look forward to working together with you as well.
Biography
I am a native of Southern California and love this place for its wonderful weather, its people, and the diverse cultural experiences it provides. I grew up wanting to be a physician because I knew it would give me the chance to merge scientific knowledge with caring for others. I studied medicine at the UC San Diego School of Medicine, completed my residency and fellowship training at the UC Irvine School of Medicine, and am currently a faculty member at the UC Riverside School of Medicine. I enjoy meeting and working together with my patients to take care of their health.
About my practice
I am trained in both general internal medicine and nephrology (taking care of the kidneys). I take care for members both in outpatient clinics as well as in the hospital setting. Currently, I also serve as the physician in charge of the Division of Nephrology as well as the medical director of the Peritoneal Dialysis Unit.
How I thrive
I think it's important to keep balance in one's life. Although my work schedule is very demanding, I try (not always successfully) to spend enough time with family (especially with my wife and son) and friends, exercise at the gym, and allow time for personal reflection.
