About me
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I am Dr. Vikas Jindal, a physician trained in occupational medicine and family medicine, with experience caring for members across the entire lifespan — from pediatric members to older adults. I am committed to providing thoughtful, comprehensive care and helping members navigate both everyday health needs and more complex medical challenges.
Biography
I have been practicing medicine since 2004, with more than 20 years of clinical experience in diverse healthcare settings in the United States. My background includes training in surgery, preventive and occupational medicine, and broad-based primary care.
Throughout my career, I have cared for a very large and diverse patient population, including children, working adults, and older adults with complex medical needs. My clinical experience includes primary care, pediatrics, urgent care, occupational medicine, geriatrics, and memory-focused care, allowing me to understand how health needs evolve over the course of life.
I have extensive experience working with older adults experiencing cognitive changes, including memory loss, executive dysfunction, and functional decline. I routinely address issues such as multimorbidity, polypharmacy, fall risk, functional assessment, caregiver support, and quality-of-life planning, helping members and families make informed decisions as health needs change over time.
My work in occupational medicine has focused on the evaluation and management of work-related injuries and illnesses, functional capacity assessment, disability and activity limitations, return-to-work planning, and preventive workplace health. This perspective allows me to provide medical care with an understanding of how health impacts daily function, employment, and independence.
About my practice
My approach to care is member-centered, practical, and collaborative. I believe good medical care begins with careful listening and a clear understanding of each member’s goals, responsibilities, and life circumstances.
I care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric members, with particular attention to those managing chronic disease, cognitive concerns, age-related changes, and functional limitations. I emphasize preventive care, early identification of problems, and coordinated care that supports both medical and functional well-being.
My background in occupational and preventive medicine allows me to focus not only on diagnosis and treatment but also on function, safety, and long-term health sustainability, whether at work, at home, or in later stages of life.
How I thrive
Maintaining balance and personal well-being is important to me. I practice yoga regularly, which helps me stay physically active, mentally focused, and grounded. I value mindfulness, healthy routines, and time for reflection, as these practices allow me to bring clarity, patience, and presence to my work with members and their families.
