Hello, and welcome to my Web page! I think of Kaiser Permanente as my second home.
After I graduated from Occidental College with a B.S. in biochemistry, I found working as an organic chemist was not fulfilling my desire to help people while directly interacting with them. I then attended Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. After that I completed my internal medicine training at St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital Detroit, and a geriatric fellowship at Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center. I also study philosophy since medicine cannot and will not answer all the problems in life, and happiness often requires wellness in physical, psychological, and spiritual being.
Our team of physicians, case workers, social workers , and others work together seamlessly to provide our member with the best care possible. I never want our patient to feel alone or face difficult situations without help.
To stay physically healthy, I bike, swim, and lift light weights. To stay psychologically healthy, I study philosophy and apply the principles to my life. To stay spiritually healthy, I meditate and pray. To keep myself entertained, I ski, camp, and travel.
