Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and patients, and look forward to working with you to care for your health. My goal is to keep you healthy, happy and thriving.
I am a native Southern Californian who grew up in the San Gabriel Valley. I have wanted to become an obstetrician/gynecologist since I had my child at age 19. Even though it was a difficult and trying time due to my youth, my doctors allowed me to see the experience in a positive light and encouraged me to develop healthy practices. I went back to college when my daughter was in the first grade and graduated from Whittier College. After completing medical school in San Francisco, I returned to my home in Southern California to begin my practice in obstetrics and gynecology. I knew that I wanted to be able to make a real difference in women's lives, and practicing medicine gives me that opportunity.
About my practice
I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy, but I am also here to help you when you are sick. I want to be your partner in health, and it helps me better care for you when you are actively involved in taking care of your health.
How I thrive
Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. I practice yoga nearly every day and enjoy swimming and scuba diving. I also make it a priority to set aside time to just relax or read a good novel. I believe in taking a vacation away from work and the stresses of daily life each year.
