About me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have the chance to introduce myself and tell you about my practice.

Biography

I was raised in Sacramento and moved to Southern California when I started college. I didn’t know until later in life that I wanted to be a physician. I realized that I enjoyed learning about health and the human body as well as helping people. Becoming a physician seemed to flow naturally from these realizations. I attended UC Irvine for my undergraduate studies and then went to UCLA School of Public Health and School of Medicine.

About my practice

I believe in empowering people with the knowledge they need to improve their health. Much of what I do revolves around understanding. It is important for people to understand why things happen to their bodies and what they can do to make things better. I think of myself as the coach: I design the play but you execute it. We should all play to win.

How I thrive

I have reduced my stress! I enjoy exercising. I find that working out helps me feel good and helps clear clutter from my brain. Swimming is great and relaxing. Spending time with my family and sewing help me reduce stress. It’s important to learn to keep things in perspective—that is, knowing what I can change and accepting the things I can’t. As they say, “Don’t sweat the small stuff.”
