Hello, and welcome to my Web page. My name is Tulsi. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a physician. I'm a cardiac anesthesiologist, and I've been practicing with Kaiser Permanente since 2012. I feel fortunate to be able to work at Kaiser Permanente as a clinician, and hope that my biography will help you get to know me a little better.
I grew up in Southern California, but have been away for most of my training. After college, I left to go to New York City for medical school, and then did all my anesthesia training in Chicago. After exploring two great cities and dealing with many winters, I decided to come back home to be close to my family and enjoy the sunny weather here.
Specializing in cardiac anesthesiology has allowed me to see and treat a very specific group of members. Although I'm a big proponent of preventive care and maintaining wellness every day, my specialty allows me to help a group of members with complex cardiac disease, and get them through a major operation that involves the heart-lung machine. I take pride in getting my members through this major surgery as safely and comfortably as possible, so they can continue to recover, rehabilitate, and go on to improve their quality of life.
I always try to achieve a good and healthy balance in life. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, running, and biking. I also ride my bike to work. I enjoy spending time with my family, going on road trips, and exploring new places.
