Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page! I’m happy to have this opportunity to share with you a bit of information about myself and my practice at Kaiser Permanente.
I’m a native Southern Californian and was born and raised in Pasadena. I’ve never left this beautiful state but have lived in each major Southern California county, eventually making my way down to my favorite place, San Diego. I was fortunate enough to be chosen to be part of our first graduating family medicine residency class here at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego. I fell in love with the Kaiser Permanente approach to health care and signed on to practice in the Point Loma Medical Offices right after graduation. I got married overlooking our beautiful San Diego Bay and now live with my wife and our small rescue dog.
About my practice
True to my specialty, I enjoy caring for the whole family. I believe that the best medicine is preventive medicine. I believe mental health is just as important as physical health. I believe we all deserve quality health care no matter our age, gender, race, or sexual orientation. I also believe laughter, love, and family are important to our health. I enjoy learning about members’ passions and being able to help them fully enjoy their lives.
How I thrive
I’m a lover of life and enjoy experiencing everything it has to offer. Every day, I take a long walk with my wife and dog. We all enjoy San Diego’s beautiful sunsets. I do yoga fairly regularly, in the summer I surf, and in the winter I ski. Currently, I’m learning how to sail, and I hope to soon dust off my dance skills as I was a trained dancer in a past lifetime. In my free time, I enjoy trying all the new restaurants and traveling.
