Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page! I’m excited to have this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself.
I was born and raised in sunny Los Angeles. Growing up, I loved taking my dog, Nikki, for runs, spending time with family, and baking. I attended UCLA for undergraduate school. I then ended up on the East Coast for graduate school, where I earned my master’s in public health at Columbia University and was able to experience weather below 0 for the first time (which I was not prepared for). I’ve always had an interest in medicine, but it was solidified in public health school when I had the opportunity to be mentored by a family medicine physician. So I made my way to Dayton, Ohio, and attended medical school and family medicine residency at Wright State University. It was during the first year of medical school that I met my husband (my other half, the love of my life, and fellow family physician) who has not only made me strive to always be better but helped me survive 7 years of snow and cold. Now, I am excited to be back in the Los Angeles area. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, working out, and baking.
About my practice
I chose family medicine because I love treating people of all ages and taking care of entire families. I am excited to be a part of the Kaiser Permanente family because I believe that Kaiser Permanente provides high-quality and accessible care to members and invests in their ability to live well. I have seen the quality firsthand, as Kaiser Permanente has treated my own family members with high-quality care. I enjoy working together with members and serving as their health advocate. In my practice, I try to give members the information and tools they need to meet their health goals. I believe in working hard, showing compassion to all, and forming strong, trusting relationships with members.
How I thrive
I live well when I have time to be physically active, and I make an effort to work out on a daily basis. I enjoy all kinds of workout classes (Pilates, kickboxing, dancing, cycling) and also just walking/running outside. Family has always been a priority, and I love spending time with my husband and my mom and dad.
