Welcome to my Web page. I am a board-certified neurologist with a subspecialty of vascular neurology and several years of research experience for Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases.
I graduated from medical school and chose neurology as my medical practice in 1982. After so many years, the brain and nerve system still amaze and challenge me. I enjoy what I am doing. It is a great honor and pleasure to share my knowledge and experience with my patients as well as their friends and family. If you need my care, I look forward to meeting you and your family.
Clinical neurology is a specialty that focuses on the diseases that involve the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. These diseases include dementia, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, seizure, multiple sclerosis, headache, neuropathy, and neuromuscular disease. With advanced medical knowledge and modern techniques such as image studies, new medications, and surgical interventions, neurology can offer multiple, very practical approaches to diagnose and treat neurological diseases, which was thought impossible a decade ago. As a career, my practice gives me a special opportunity to connect and help people in a meaningful way. People often confide in me their concerns and hopes. I listen and utilize my medical skills and knowledge to provide help and support.
I believe that laughing, a sense of humor, and healthy diet and lifestyle are much more important than medications. I try to eat and sleep well, and I’m actively involved in routine exercises such as walking, dancing, and hiking. I like to travel and see the world. But spending time with my lovely 90-year-old mother is always my priority. Life is a gift. We should take care of ourselves and each other.
