About me

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a physician and physician executive at Kaiser Permanente. I am a family medicine physician. I have practiced for more than 16 years at Kaiser Permanente in Ontario, first at the I Street Medical Offices, now at our new Vineyard Medical Offices. In addition, I am an assistant area medical director for the Fontana and Ontario service area. I feel blessed to work for Kaiser Permanente as both a clinician and an executive.

Biography

I was born in Bellflower and moved with my family to the Chino Valley when I was five. I completed my medical degree at Loma Linda University and my residency in family medicine at Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center. My wife is a registered nurse. We have two wonderful daughters. I enjoy camping, landscaping, cooking, and church activities.

About my practice

In my practice I care for patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors. I feel very fortunate to provide care through the full spectrum of life, and I also enjoy knowing the whole family. I believe that knowing people over the course of their lives and in the context of their familial support groups helps me to provide the best care I can.

How I thrive

Achieving balance in life is a journey. Like most, I am not perfect at this. I try to exercise regularly throughout the week. I enjoy running and hiking. If I can do these things with friends and family, I enjoy them even more. Maintaining my spiritual life through church involvement is also very important to me. I find that I am energized when I connect with others who share my faith and when I am able to serve my community. Finally, I try to maintain my knowledge in medicine and other areas through regular reading, travel, and professional groups or gatherings.
