About me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page.

Biography

I was raised in the suburbs of Chicago. I came to San Diego for my residency in family practice at UC San Diego Medical Center, and decided to make my home here. I knew I wanted to become a doctor since I was 10 years old. I loved studying biology in school, and I was drawn to a career that involved caring for people's health. I went to school at Northwestern University and spent a year abroad in England, at the University of Sussex, where I studied economics. I was interested in the workings of the British National Health Service. In addition my medical practice, I have been a professional Argentine tango dancer since 2005. I married my dance partner, and we have been teaching and performing tango around the country.

About my practice

Our department is a tight-knit group of doctors who all strive to provide the best quality and service possible. I am the physician-in-charge at the Bostonia Medical Offices, and I am dedicated to constantly improving the quality of healthcare our team provides.

How I thrive

Staying fit and healthy is very important to me. As a professional dancer, I get lots of exercise. I follow a balanced diet, which takes a lot of discipline because I love to eat. My love of body movement and dance led me to begin intensive study of tai chi in 2009. I currently have the equivalent of a brown belt in tai chi, and I have incorporated many of the principles of body mechanics that I have learned through dance and tai chi into my medical practice to help patients with a variety of musculoskeletal problems.
