Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I’m a family medicine physician who is currently practicing at Kaiser Permanente. I believe it’s very important for you to feel comfortable with your family physician, and I hope this page will help you get to know me.
I was born in Vietnam. Since childhood, I’ve seen how people can help each other mend physical and emotional wounds. Immigrating to the United States in my early teens, I overcame many barriers, took the opportunities of my new homeland, and followed my inner calling to become a healer—a physician. The medical training I received at Rush Medical College in Chicago, and at Harbor–UCLA Medical Center exposed me to a rich diversity of practice scenarios in big cities.
About my practice
I believe in helping my members live healthily through preventive medicine, while also providing high-quality, compassionate care when they’re sick. I’d like my members to feel comfortable with me and confident in me. I believe in attentive listening and responding with care to members’ needs. I would like to help my members to understand their medical issues and options so they can actively work with me for their health. I enjoy having a happy, supportive environment at work and a loving, caring, exciting family life.
How I thrive
I enjoy following my children through their activities—drawing, reading, playing outdoors, and performing at school. I enjoy spending time with my family visiting natural wonders or places with cultural significance. I enjoy gourmet cooking—always with the right portion and healthy ingredients, of course. I also enjoy helping people, doing charity work, and keeping in touch with friends.
