Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about me.
Born and raised in San Diego, I grew up in a large, busy family. I always kept active in sports and academics, enjoyed baking and traveling, and had a strong interest in health and the medical sciences. After attending University of California San Diego, and through my experiences as an emergency medical technician and hospital volunteer, I decided to pursue a career in medicine. I have always had a particular fondness for helping children and young adults, which is why I chose the field of pediatrics. As a parent myself, I realize that helping educate parents and children about healthy habits early on provides a strong base for children to grow and thrive.
About my practice
My practice covers the pediatric population, from birth through 17 years old. I believe that living a healthy lifestyle and practicing preventive care are the cornerstones to staying well and being healthy. When it comes to keeping a child healthy, it's vital that the patient's family is involved. I encourage my patients and all family members to eat well, exercise, come in for routine evaluations, and receive recommended immunizations. Every patient is unique and special. I believe that taking the time to listen to my patients is the most important part of finding the best way to help them.
How I thrive
I take pride in my work and my family. I enjoy finding balance in both of these passions. When I am not at work caring for my patients, I enjoy outdoor adventures with my family, at the beach or on a hike. We enjoy cooking, reading books, and being together as a family.
