Kaiser Permanente physician
My gender: Male
Accepting new patients. Referral may be required.
I am glad to have this opportunity to introduce myself. I have practiced emergency medicine since 1991, initially at the Emergency Department of the South Bay Medical Center, and now at Riverside Medical Center. My primary goal is to provide you with timely, high-quality care at any hour of the day or night.
I grew up in Southern California, and received all of my education in the Los Angeles area. I attended Occidental College, and the University of Southern California College of Medicine. I did my residency training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. My family is from the Los Angeles area, and they are members of Kaiser Permanente too. I became a doctor to help people. In the Emergency Department, that opportunity presents itself dozens of times each day.
Kaiser Permanente is an ideal place to practice emergency medicine because there is a strong emphasis on providing high-quality care through teamwork with colleagues. We share the work, we help and encourage each other to improve our skills and knowledge, and we become lifelong friends in the process.
Walking, biking, and chasing after our children keep me and my wife busy. Tending a vineyard is a workout of another kind that requires attention year-round.
