Where I practice
Thank you for taking the opportunity to view my Web page. I hope that you can learn a little something about me as a doctor and as someone who is committed to your health. Take a minute to view my profile and some of the other great people in our department, and I think you'll find that you're in good hands.
I was born and raised in Korea, where I lived until I immigrated to the States at age 10. I have been a Southern California resident since then and have thoroughly enjoyed my life here. I even went to college and studied medicine here as well. I love the diversity, the city life, and the great friends I've made here. Becoming a doctor was a natural career choice for me, as I have always loved people and science. Medicine affords me great opportunities to meet and connect with people in a meaningful way.
About my practice
I have found that working at Kaiser Permanente is a very rewarding experience. I value my relationships with the nurses and other physicians. I feel privileged that members trust me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family, focusing on their overall well-being, in addition to their physical health.
How I thrive
Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. As much as I enjoy my work, I love spending time with my family. I believe that staying active and participating in sports are vital in keeping the mind and body whole. I completed the Los Angeles Triathlon in 2006, then had two children, and returned to complete the swim leg of the LA Triathlon in 2012. I also enjoy gardening and photography.
