Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you and to provide you with my credentials. I look forward to working with you and your family for your health.
I wanted to be a physician since the ninth grade, as a result of my volunteer work at County General Hospital. As a translator, I quickly understood the importance of helping others who could not speak English as they tried to relate their symptoms to their doctor. This experience inspired me to go into medicine to help bridge the gap and be able to provide cultural- and linguistic-specific health care services.
About my practice
Medicine as a career is very rewarding and I enjoy developing relationships with the people I treat. In treating an entire family, I am able to develop an understanding of the family dynamics, which have a big impact on lifestyle and health. I enjoy listening to people, utilizing my medical skills and knowledge to give the appropriate evaluation. The physician-patient bond is very important to me, and I strive to treat each person as if they were my own family.
How I thrive
My family life is my major priority. I enjoy being a Girl Scout leader for my daughter and volunteering with her in the local community service organization, Ek Kardia, which means, from the heart. My husband, children, and I especially enjoy snorkeling trips to Cancun, Mexico, as well as local camping trips with the Boy and Girl Scouts. I like to set aside time for daily walks, hiking, or reading a good novel.
