Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I am an internal medicine, dementia and hospice palliative care physician, and I have worked at Kaiser Permanente for the past 25 years. I feel very fortunate to be part of this very proactive organization which cares so much for its members.
I was born in India and moved to the United States after getting married, finishing medical school, and training for two years to be an Ob/Gyn. Even when I was a little girl, I wanted to be a physician, and God helped me fulfill my dream, so that I can help people. I am a fortunate mother of two kids. My daughter is a pediatrician and teaches medical students and residents; she is married to a cardiology fellow. My son is an accountant, and my husband is an emergency medicine physician. I am a fortunate wife and mother.
About my practice
I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy, but I am also here to help you when you are sick. I want to be your partner in health, and it helps me better care for you when you are actively involved in taking care of your health.
How I thrive
I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente’s philosophy of a healthy body, mind, and spirit, and I try to live it in my life every day. My family life is my major priority. I try to remain active with yoga, walking, and a very active social life. My husband, two kids, and I enjoy summer vacation trips and quiet family time at home.
