Welcome to my Web page. I’m glad to give you some information about me.
I was raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles. I did my residency in family medicine in Las Vegas. I moved to San Diego after my residency training to start working at Kaiser Permanente. I knew I wanted to become a doctor when I was helping take care of a sick child when I worked at a daycare facility in college. I was able to use my science knowledge to explain what was happening to him, but also I was able to comfort the child until his grandmother came to pick him up. I loved the combination of science and human interaction. In addition to medicine, I like to sew and I love to travel.
I work with a tight-knit group of doctors whose goal is to provide high-quality care and service. If you can’t see me one day, you will likely see another member of my team. I am a health care team leader here at the Bostonia Medical Offices, and I am dedicated to constantly improving the health care provided by my team and myself. My personal medical philosophy focuses on preventive care and treating the whole person, not just his or her specific symptoms. I have received extra training in the musculoskeletal system—your body’s interconnected system of nerves, muscles, and bones. As an osteopathic physician, I have a better understanding of the ways that an illness or injury in one part of your body can affect another.
My husband and I have a young daughter and a new baby son. Life balance is very important to me. I enjoy spending time with my family at the museums, beaches, and parks around San Diego.
