About me

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to introduce myself, and share a bit about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente, and look forward to partnering with you in caring for your health.

Biography

I was born in India, and moved to Southern California when I was two years old. I knew from an early age that I wanted to be able to make a real difference in people's lives. Practicing family medicine is a very special opportunity to connect with people and help them in a meaningful way. I earned my undergraduate degree at UC Irvine, attended medical school at University of Southern California, and did my residency in family medicine at UCLA. I have been a board-certified family practitioner since 1996, and was in private group practice for ten years prior to joining Kaiser Permanente in 2006.

About my practice

I have experience with the full range of family practice. I enjoy not only using my medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what patients need, and encouraging them to share with me their innermost concerns and hopes. I feel honored that patients have entrusted me with their care, and strive to treat them as I would my own family.

How I thrive

In terms of maintaining life balance, I believe in being well-rounded and healthy in mind, body, and spirit. I am very involved with my children's education and sports, and I also enjoy exercise, photography, travel, and playing the guitar.
