Where I practice
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. My name is Dr. Walsh, and I am a family medicine doctor at the Kaiser Permanente West Covina Medical Offices.
I have enjoyed living in California for most of my life. I attended Pasadena City College and then transferred to UCLA ,completing my studies in kinesiology. I then I attended CSU Long Beach, where I earbed a Master of Science degree in exercise science, while at the same time working as a research assistant at the Long Beach VA Hospital in the Department of Cardiology. On completion of medical school at UC Irvine, I enter the Whittier Presbyterian Family Medicine Residency followed by a one-year fellowship in sports medicine at the Kaiser Permanente Fontana Sports Medicine training program. In 1999 I joined Kaiser Permanente for a few years before going to Liverpool, England to study tropical medicine. I subsequently worked in Kenya for a few years in a teaching hospital providing patient care and training Kenyan doctors. I later returned to Kaiser Permanente in 2008 and have enjoying working in the Downey area until my recent transfer.
