Where I practice
Welcome to Kaiser Permanente. Now you are presumably in the process of choosing a gynecologist. It is very important that you feel comfortable with your gynecologist, as the issues at hand can be very personal. I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.
I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I completed my undergraduate degree in biology at UC Riverside. I attended the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University in Israel. After completing my internship and residency at Kaiser Permanente, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to stay and practice in such a great health care system.
About my practice
The practice of gynecology has advanced in many ways in the last few decades. With new methods for birth control, treatment options for heavy periods, and more intricate screening tests (to name only a few changes), educating and counseling patients have become more complicated. I prefer to spend the necessary time to explain all these options to you so that you can make informed decisions about your health. I also prefer that you find a general (primary) physician to address and care for your nongynecological issues, so that I can spend time with you discussing your gynecological health specifically.
How I thrive
Outside of work I spend most of my time with my wife and kids. My hobbies include ice hockey, skiing, and music. I also enjoy exercising on my treadmill while watching my favorite TV shows.
