Where I practice
Hi, and welcome to my Web page. I’m glad to have this means to tell you a little about me and my pediatrics practice here at Kaiser Permanente.
I was born in Southern California and grew up in Santa Clarita. I have spent the majority of my life here in Southern California and love all it has to offer. I did my pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. After six years in private practice, I returned to Santa Clarita in 2003 to be close to my family in the area. I started to work full-time at Kaiser Permanente in 2004.
About my practice
I chose pediatrics because I love taking care of kids. I love watching my patients grow from newborns to young adults and assisting in their transitions through the stages in their lives. I feel my role as a pediatrician is to teach. I am here to help my patients and the parents of my patients learn what is normal and what to expect, as well as about safety issues, developmental issues, and so on. I feel I have the best job in the world, a job where I get to play with kids every day. You will notice when you meet me that I’m very casual. I don’t believe in wearing a white coat (except for the picture, of course).
How I thrive
I like to be active outdoors, whether it’s playing with my twins, playing softball, walking my dog, gardening, cycling, or hiking. I also like to do projects at home, such as painting, wallpapering, and putting up paneling.
