Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page! I am very happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and our members, and look forward to working with you to care for your health.
I was born in Seoul, South Korea. I immigrated to this country with my mother and older brother when I was in junior high school. I had a very dedicated and loving single mother who sacrificed to give me the opportunity to be well-educated and pursue my dream of becoming a surgeon. Now, I have achieved that dream and am excited to serve our members with the knowledge and skills I have obtained over the years. I am happily married to another Kaiser Permanente physician. We both feel truly blessed to work for Kaiser Permanente and look forward to a lifelong career here.
About my practice
I completed general surgery training at UCLA, and then pursued a fellowship training in breast surgical oncology at John Wayne Cancer Institute. I have a special interest in treating people with breast cancer and would love to have more opportunity to serve this specific group in the future.
How I thrive
I live well by spending quality time with my family and friends, engaging in exercise programs at the gym, and keeping my religious faith.
