About me

Welcome! Thank you for visiting my Web page! I hope that you will be able to learn a little bit about me and my practice.

Biography

I am from Los Angeles. I completed my medical degree at Saba University School of Medicine (located on the Caribbean island of Saba) and then completed my psychiatry residency in Omaha, Nebraska, before returning back to California to practice psychiatry. My area of interest is in inpatient psychiatry.

About my practice

Inpatient psychiatry allows me to be involved in treating members with serious mental illnesses. Furthermore, being able to see these individuals stabilize and discharge is very rewarding. In treating members, my focus is on education, discussion (of risks, benefits, options, and alternatives), and understanding. I am an advocate of helping members take an active role in their care and improving their quality of life.

How I thrive

I live a healthy life through a work-life balance. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching a lot of movies, and reading. Additionally, I try to exercise more and eat healthier because I know this is integral to my own mental health and well-being.
