About me
Thank you for visiting this Web page where I share a little bit about myself. It is very important to me that you feel comfortable with your obstetrician/gynecologist, and I hope this page will help you get to know me.
Biography
I was born in Illinois, lived in Virginia during my youth, moved to California with my family when I was in high school, and have been in California ever since. I was lucky to feel drawn to medicine early in my life and chose obstetrics/gynecology (ob/gyn) as my specialty as I felt it was the perfect fit for my interest in caring for women and individuals with female reproductive organs. I was also drawn to international health advocacy, care, and research, and so after completing my undergraduate BS degree at UC Davis, I went to UC San Francisco to complete a master of science degree in global health. I did my medical training at California Northstate University and completed my ob/gyn residency training at UC Irvine.
About my practice
I provide full-scope ob/gyn care to members. It is important to me that members feel heard and supported, and I strive to build strong and trusting relationships with members. I have a special interest in minimally invasive gynecological surgery, including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. I am interested in family planning as well. I also enjoy the care that I can provide to our pregnant members. I value compassionate healthcare that is based on evidence and current research, and I'm committed to helping members feel empowered and informed about their health throughout all stages of their lives.
How I thrive
Having work-life balance is important to me, and so I have a few hobbies that I am passionate about. I enjoy being active and healthy, and so I like to go to the gym, do home workout routines, or go for runs in my neighborhood. I also have a huge passion for music and can play a few musical instruments. I love to learn new languages, travel, and spend time with family and friends.
