Welcome to my Web page.
I am a board-certified radiation oncologist. I went to Alhambra High School and graduated from UCLA with a degree in microbiology and molecular genetics. I then attended the University of Minnesota Medical School in the Twin Cities.
My practice focuses on the multidisciplinary treatment of cancers of the head and neck, breast, prostate, and lung. As a general radiation oncologist, I also have extensive experience in treating all cancer types, including, but not limited to, lymphomas, tumors of the gastrointestinal tract (such as esophageal or pancreatic cancers), central nervous system cancers, and sarcomas. I believe in practicing evidence-based oncology; this means that my treatment recommendations are heavily based on up-to-date clinical research. I care very much about the outcome of my patients. I believe that patients don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. I also enjoy teaching, working with residents, and clinical research.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and traveling. I’m also a big fan of the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team. My all-time favorite TV show is “Seinfeld.”
