Welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I hope the information here helps you feel familiar with me because I know how important it is for a member to be comfortable with his or her physician.
I grew up in Iran and Southern California in an all-physician family. My family taught me that being a physician comes with an enormous sense of responsibility, and that all of a physician’s energy and talents may be needed to serve this awesome responsibility. I completed my undergraduate training with a degree in microbiology at UCLA. My medical training took me to Boston, where I completed my medical school training at Tufts University. I completed my specialty training in internal medicine in San Francisco, where I also served as a resident and later as a chief resident.
I specialize mainly in the care of hospitalized members. I work with an amazing group of specialists and subspecialists in the hospital who help me in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of the acutely ill.
I consider a smile, at the right time, one of the most potent medicines.
