Hello, and welcome to my Web page! Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself and share a bit about my practice. It is important that you feel comfortable when choosing a surgeon. I hope this page will help you get to know me, and I look forward to meeting you in person.
I was born in Georgia but spent most of my life in Southern California. I attended college at UC Berkeley and medical school at USC. During medical school, I developed an interest in neuroscience and decided to pursue the field of neurological surgery. I went on to complete training in neurological surgery at UCLA. During my neurosurgical training, I did a 14-month clinical fellowship at Kaiser Permanente’s Los Angeles Medical Center in complex spinal surgery. Upon completion of my training, I joined the Kaiser Permanente’s neurosurgery and spinal surgery team.
I am privileged to be able to help people lead more functional and healthy lives by utilizing surgical and medical treatment options. I believe that every member is different, and I spend time listening to members to understand their individual needs and tailor my treatment approaches accordingly.
Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my wife and my son. We enjoy going to parks and taking hikes.
