Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I am very excited to be part of Kaiser Permanente, and I am glad you have chosen to be a member of this innovative organization dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality health care. My hope is that this Web site will help foster a wonderful relationship between you and me.
I was born and raised in a small rural town in northeast Michigan. I completed my undergraduate training at Michigan State University (go, Spartans!). My medical education has been throughout the country: Kansas City, Philadelphia, and San Diego. I am very happy to be living in Southern California. Aside from medicine, my 2 passions in life are travel and food. I do my best to take care of my body and enjoy working out and staying healthy. I like to encourage members to do the same.
About my practice
I completed my family medicine residency here in San Diego at UC San Diego. I have enjoyed my practice as a family medicine physician here at Kaiser Permanente’s La Mesa Medical Offices. Our nurses and office staff are very kind, compassionate, and hard working. We believe in a team approach to providing high-quality care. Everyone does his or her part to provide you with the care you need. Open communication between you and my team is very important, so please tell us what’s on your mind. I welcome and am passionate about the care of our LGBTQ members.
How I thrive
A healthy lifestyle and diet very important to me. I eat lots of protein, fruits, and vegetables and avoid potato chips, soda, and sweets, greatly limiting my carbohydrate intake. I try to hit the gym as much as possible, at least one hour a day, four to five times a week. I strive to stay young on the inside as well as on the outside. A balance of work, family, and play is what keeps me healthy and happy. Take a deep breath and thrive.
