Hello! I’m a physician in the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Department as well as the Pain Management Department. My primary focus is on functional recovery with adjunctive use of conservative modalities and interventional procedures to improve quality of life.
I attended UCLA for college and then went on to Wake Forest School of Medicine. My internship was served at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in New York. I then returned to California for residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at UC Irvine. Subsequently, I completed my fellowship training in pain management at Loma Linda University School of Medicine because I wanted additional tools to treat this aspect of disease and injury.
I feel a successful patient-doctor relationship should focus on long-term prevention. I try to employ as many options as possible while balancing risks and side effects.
I enjoy traveling whenever possible to relieve stress and find new perspectives. I like to spend my free time with my family. We’ve been introducing outdoor activities to our kids—which has the added benefit of promoting exercise for ourselves.
