Where I practice
I'm glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It's very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician. I hope this page will do just that.
I was born and raised in Cuba until the age of 14, I came to this great country with my parents and two sisters as political refugees. We were only able to take three changes of clothes and a few pictures, such a traumatic experience made me realize that they can take away everything except what's in your mind, so education became the most important thing in my life. I'm married and have three wonderful children (two in college and one in high school), two Chihuahua dogs, and two cats. I love spending time with my family and friends, and I'm fortunate that my parents are still alive. My hobbies are mainly reading (anything!) and shopping, and my favorite spot in the world is the Caribbean sea.
About my practice
I see myself as someone who is going to help you raise healthy children through preventive care and healthy living. However, I'm also here when you kids are sick. I'm always asking myself, "what would I do if this child was my son or daughter?" This inspires me to provide the best care possible.
How I thrive
I enjoy walking, dancing, and exercising. Currently I'm learning how to cook healthier versions of my favorite dishes. When I'm under a lot of pressure, it always helps to pray and listen to my favorite kind of music (salsa).
