Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself and to tell you about my work as a retina specialist.
I grew up in Southern California and attended UCLA for my undergraduate studies. I was fortunate to stay in sunny California to complete all of my training. I went to UC Irvine for medical school, my ophthalmology residency, and an additional two-year fellowship (subspecialty training) in the medical and surgical management of retinal conditions. I was in private practice before I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2013.
About my practice
As a retina specialist, I provide medical and surgical treatments of diseases affecting the back of the eye. I am very fortunate to work with a great team of ophthalmologists at Kaiser Permanente South Bay Medical Center, where we strive to provide high-quality eye care to our patients. The conditions I treat include diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal detachments, macular holes, macular pucker, retinal vein occlusions (strokes inside the eye), uveitis (inflammation inside the eye), and other retinal conditions. I perform intravitreal (eye) injections, laser treatments, and surgery for retinal conditions.
How I thrive
I enjoy spending time with my family and running after our two sons. During my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, and playing Ping-Pong.
