Kaiser Permanente physician
My gender: Male
Accepting new patients.
Welcome to my Web page. I am excited to have this opportunity to share a little about myself. Thank you so much for visiting! I am very fortunate to have such a wonderful job here at Kaiser Permanente with amazing colleagues, and I love helping to take care of our diverse pediatric member population. Hopefully, I will have the pleasure of meeting many of you, and I would love it if you chose me as the primary care provider for your child.
I have lived in Southern California my entire life. I was born and raised in San Diego County. I have an amazing, loving family who all still live there, so I try to visit them as much as possible. They are so supportive of me and are very proud to have a doctor in the family! I am truly dedicated and have worked extremely hard to become a pediatrician. I put myself through college by earning scholarships and working up to 4 jobs at the same time. After college, I was very fortunate to be able to stay in Southern California and attend the USC Keck School of Medicine, which is what originally brought me to the Los Angeles area. I found my passion for pediatrics while in medical school after realizing how children (whether sick or well) can always put a smile on my face every single day.
Being a Kaiser Permanente physician means being part of an amazing health care team. I believe that teamwork is essential to providing high-quality care to our members. I love being able to work in an environment where I know my colleagues share the same sentiment. We see children from birth up until age 18, at which time they are transitioned to either family medicine or internal medicine. It is an honor and a privilege to be able to watch members grow and mature over the years from adorable little babies to young adults. During this time, I enjoy educating children (and their families) about how to live a healthy lifestyle so that they can grow to be adults without major medical problems. Preventive care is key!
I am so grateful that Kaiser Permanente strongly believes in work-life balance. Having the time to enjoy your personal life is important to staying healthy and happy. I love staying active by taking daily walks while on my lunch breaks at work, going to the gym 4 or 5 days per week, hiking, and playing tennis and volleyball. I visit my family in San Diego as often as possible. We love playing board games and card games together. I also enjoy spending all of my spare time with my loving partner of over 6 years. While we have no kids of our own, I thrive by helping to take care of your precious little ones!
