About me

Hi, and thank you for visiting my Web page. I hope you find that the information on this page helps you get to know me a little better.

Biography

I have been at Kaiser Permanente since 2008, and I love practicing medicine here. I am a Brazilian-Korean-American. I moved to the United States in 2003 to start a family with my wonderful wife, who had already been living here for 12 years. We have three beautiful daughters. I love just spending time with them, serving at my church, biking, and learning about many different things other than medicine.

About my practice

My practice is mainly focused on general internal medicine. I strive to be the kind of physician who is concerned not only with physical ailments but also the spiritual and emotional concerns of my patients. I also have some degree of knowledge in weight management. I speak fluent Portuguese, English, Korean, and Spanish.

How I thrive

I stay well primarily through my faith, which gives me strength to be a good husband, a good father, and a good person. What I receive, I try to share. I try to balance work and family, sleep enough, eat healthy food, not spend more than I earn, and ride my bike.
