Where I practice
Welcome to my Web page. I am a family medicine physician at the Kaiser Permanente Whittier Medical Offices and look forward to meeting you. I have lived in many places and have been immersed in many different cultures, races, religious beliefs, and languages.
My first experience with doctors and nurses was when I was six years old. My father came home one evening and brought his proud catch . My family and I had what we thought was an excellent dinner, until most of us were stricken with very bad case of upset stomach. We all ended up in the emergency room, and I had a tube placed inside my nose. My nurse told me that was to help me get better. I wanted to become like the doctors and nurses, who were so confident, compassionate, and caring in their work.
About my practice
I have always believed that healthy living starts with preventive care. To me, medicine is not just about taking your medication and coming to see me when you're sick. I am here as your partner in care, along with the rest of our team doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, medical assistants, and front office staff.
How I thrive
I spend my free time with my family and friends, exploring the beauty and the many adventures that Southern California has to offer. I've always said that this is one of the few places where one can ski, play golf, surf, get stuck in traffic, and go to Disneyland all in one day. Living life to its fullest, working hard, and playing hard are how I live well.
