About me
Thanks for stopping by and taking a moment to learn more about me. I’m Dr. Roger Sur, and Southern California has always been home for me. I’ve long been interested in science, but my path into medicine was shaped just as much by personal family health experiences and a desire to help others in meaningful ways. Those early experiences continue to guide how I care for members today — I believe listening and understanding are just as important as treating symptoms. And on a lighter note, members often enjoy learning that I’m a big dog lover. I look forward to being part of your care.
Biography
My path into medicine was fueled by a love of science and a genuine motivation to make a difference in people’s lives. Over time, I found myself drawn to internal medicine because of the wide variety of conditions and individuals it allows me to care for. I value the opportunity to think broadly, ask questions, and help members navigate their health over time.
Meeting people at different stages of their lives and supporting them through both routine and complex health concerns has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career. I’m grateful for the experiences that led me into this field and for the trust members place in me.
About my practice
What I enjoy most about my practice is meeting new people and having the opportunity to make a positive impact in their lives. Each member brings their own story, concerns, and goals, and I value the chance to work together to support their health. I strive to create an environment where members feel comfortable, heard, and confident in their care. My goal is to provide thoughtful, attentive care and to partner with members as they move toward better health and well-being.
How I thrive
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and engaged through sports, watching baseball, and trying different foods. Time spent with family and friends is meaningful to me and helps keep life in perspective. It allows me to return to work with focus, gratitude, and a strong sense of purpose.
