About me

I’m a board-certified family medicine physician and HIV specialist dedicated to inclusive, preventive, and member-centered care. My clinical focus includes LGBTQ health, sexually transmitted infection and HIV prevention and treatment, and culturally competent care for diverse communities. I’m committed to building strong partnerships with members, mentoring future clinicians, and continuously improving care through compassion, collaboration, and education.

Biography

I grew up in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and studied biology at the University of Rhode Island with minors in German and Spanish. After completing a master’s degree in biomedical sciences at Barry University in Miami, I earned my medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. I completed my family medicine residency through Kaiser Permanente/UCLA and became an HIV specialist through the American Academy of HIV Medicine.

My passion lies in providing inclusive, preventive, and member-centered care. I specialize in LGBTQ health and STI and HIV prevention and treatment, and am a strong advocate for culturally competent care for all communities. Mentoring medical students and residents is also an important part of my professional life. I’m constantly seeking ways to improve my practice and support members in achieving their best health with compassion and collaboration.

About my practice

My practice is built on the belief that healthcare should be both accessible and empowering. I focus on preventive health strategies, personalized guidance, and member education. My goal is to create a welcoming space where people of all backgrounds feel supported, heard, and respected. I prioritize satisfaction and well-being, ensuring every member feels like a partner in their health journey.

How I thrive

I stay active through hiking, weightlifting, and yoga, which help keep my body strong and my mind centered. Music brings joy to my life, and I make time for self-care, travel, and meaningful time with my husband and our little boy. Practicing gratitude and balancing work with intention help me stay positive and present — both in and out of the clinic.
